People's Bank of Commerce Foundation

Southern Oregonians have been devastated by wildfires leaving thousands of residents homeless and without food, water and clothing. Several community organizations have immediately responded to provide housing, food and necessities to those who lost everything. Organizations like the American Red Cross and Rogue Valley Preparedness and Recovery Hub are helping to shoulder the direct needs from the crisis, but intermediate and long-term solutions are necessary to ensure we effectively rebuild our region and help families get back on their feet and continue productive, healthy lives.

People’s Bank is proud to support the newly formed Southern Oregon Housing Initiative. We have approved a $1 million donation from our bank for the initial funding of this initiative. In addition, the People’s Bank of Commerce employees donated $215 thousand to the foundation. We invite other southern Oregon businesses and individuals to come along side and work together to develop housing solutions.
